The Sarpanch of the village isn’t happy with the farmers’ protest and promises Bhagat that he will give his land back if he can convince the farmers to return to the village. At the same time, a new farm bill is introduced and farmers decide to protest so that they can talk to the government. In order to win his wife and his land back, Bhagat tries to contact the Sarpanch, but he is unable to get a hold of him. He has a fight with his wife Mohini who fed up with his antics leaves him. Bhagat is an alcoholic, and due to his bad habits loses his land. The story is about a poor farmer Bhagat who is wrongfully duped by the Village Sarpanch into giving up his land. There were whistles and loud cheers in almost every scene of the 2nd half.Teeja Punjab is a story that shows the emotions every farmer and his family have for their land.

I saw this movie again on TV today as a part of our Independence Day celebrations. I had taken my entire office to see this film, wanted them to observe and learn team-work and team management.
